2013 Minds In Motion Scholarships Awarded

     The thirteen recipients chosen for the 2013 Minds In Motion Scholarships, provided by The Allstate Foundation, received their $1,000 scholarships at a luncheon held in their honor Tuesday, June 4th in the Ravens' Team Locker Room at M&T Bank Stadium.      This year's guest speaker was the Assistant State Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Henry R. Johnson, Jr. who thanked the Allstate Foundation for their generosity and support.  Dr. Johnson then provided words of praise and encouragement for this year's winners before emphasizing that the reputation of each student is only the first step in a lifetime of work to mold one's character into a lasting legacy.

     This is the sixth year for this highly competitive scholarship program which awards $1,000 toward post-secondary education to each of the female and male senior student-athletes chosen who attend an MPSSAA school and participate in MPSSAA recognized sports.
