The MPSSAA baseball state championship games were held at Regency Furniture Stadium (Waldorf, MD) on May 28. The following is a recap of the regional and state championship results.
State Championship Results
Class 1A - No. 5 Clear Spring defeated No. 2 Colonel Richardson, 11-3
Class 2A - No. 6 Glenelg defeated No. 1 Patuxent, 4-1
Class 3A - No. 2 Chesapeake-AA defeated No. 1 Towson, 5-1
Class 4A - No. 3 Sherwood defeated No. 4 Severna Park, 11-0 (5)
Championship Brackets
The MPSSAA Baseball Championships is a single-elimination tournament. The eight regional champions from each classification are reseeded into a State Quarterfinal following the last regional championship game. Seeding for the state quarterfinal is determined by regular season winning percentage.
