The MPSSAA is proud to announce the appointment of Bill Witte to the position of State Football Rules Interpreter effective July 1, 2010.  Mr. Witte replaces Joe Warren who died in September after serving as our first and only Football Rules Interpreter for more than thirty years.

     Bill Witte is a professor at Montgomery College and has an extensive background in football at many levels.  He has officiated both at the college and high school level as well as in the American Indoor Football Association.

     Mr. Witte's experience on the field coupled with his expertise in technology should be an asset to the MPSSAA for many years to come.
