The latest issue of SCOUT magazine is out with all sorts of important news,  reminders, and information regarding the upcoming post-season for spring sports.  We want to highlight two big changes which have taken place with the State Baseball and State Tennis Championships.  In addition, the entry and penalty deadlines for the region track and field meet schedule have been corrected and re-posted on our website.

     The big change for the State Baseball Finals will be that the Class 1A (12 PM), 2A (3 PM), and 3A (6 PM) games will be played at Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen on Monday, May 30th this year, rather than the usual Saturday date.  The Class 4A game remains on Friday, May 27th and will be played again at Shipley Field on the University of Maryland College Park campus at 7 PM.  See the Baseball "Fan Focus" for more information.

     The State Tennis Championships have been moved to Olney Manor Recreational Park in Olney for the 2016 tournament due to the demolition of the Cole Field House tennis courts.  The park address, directions, and more can be viewed in the Tennis "Fan Focus".

     Finally, the entry deadlines and penalty deadlines for the region track and field meets were not properly updated in the original bulletin or schedule we had posted on the website.  The bulletin has been revised and re-posted on the website along with the revised region meet schedule and deadlines.
