The 2024 Minds in Motion Scholar-Athlete Scholarship is officially underway! This 17th annual program recognizes those seniors who have excelled on the playing field and in the classroom. Applicants must have a minimum 3.25 unweighted overall GPA and have participated in interscholastic athletic activities, sponsored by the MPSSAA, during their high school careers. Selected male and female recipients receive a $1,000 scholarship toward post-secondary education.
Each of the nine MPSSAA districts will have two recipients selected. (To view the district that your school system is assigned to, please visit page 7 of the MPSSAA Handbook.) Applications consist of completing the online form, which will be available until the deadline of Noon on Friday, April 5. Applicants are reminded to fill out the form carefully and double-check that all requested information has been provided before clicking submit.
After the application deadline, the applications are divided according to the MPSSAA district of each submission. They are then forwarded to the Scholar-Athlete Committee representative from the nine respective districts. Each district convenes a selection committee to review the applications.
