The MPSSAA is proud to announce the inking of another three-year title sponsorship with PNC for the Boys' and Girls' State Lacrosse Tournaments.  PNC will provide scholarship donations to all schools that reach the championship finals of each tournament.  The Maryland State Lacrosse Championships presented by PNC will take place May 21 and 22 at UMBC.

     "Lacrosse is the quintessential Maryland sport," said Laura Gamble, PNC Regional President, Greater Maryland.  "It's an exciting game that continues to grow in popularity -- attracting players from all cultures and communities.  By extending scholarships to the schools that are dedicated to developing students who achieve at the highest levels, we are helping to make the sport accessible to more students.".

     Ned Sparks, Executive Director of the MPSSAA added, "We are pleased that PNC has chosen to continue to invest in our Maryland High School lacrosse legacy that in turn reinforces the total educational mission of our programs.".
