The 9-hole Challenge event was played on the Hollows course by a total of 13 players and was won by Karen Eaton of North Point High School with a score of 56.  Eaton won by two strokes over her nearest competitors, Jillian Casey of Patterson Mill High School and Polly Muangrat of Dulaney High School, who shot 58 and 59 for 2nd and 3rd place, respectively.

While all of the golfers were on the course, a novice clinic was conducted by teaching pros Terry Shaffer and Patty Meyers at the Nike Golf Learning Center, also located at the Potomac Ridge facility.  Fundamental skills were taught followed by skills challenges between the participants where prizes were awarded.  Once again, this event proved to be a popular and successful one and we look forward to an even bigger and better Challenge next fall!
