The 2009 State Swimming Championships have come to a successful conclusion at the Prince George's Sports and Learning Complex in Landover. Earning the championship in each classification were the Severna Park Girls and the Broadneck Boys in Class 4A/3A along with the Queen Anne's Girls and the Fallston Boys in Class 3A/2A/1A. Congratulations to all of the student-athletes and coaches for a job well done and thank you to the spectators in attendance for the positive support shown throughout the day. The complete and comprehensive final results of each meet are included as links in this story.
The MPSSAA would once again like to thank the Prince George's Sports and Learning Center and their staff for their assistance, support, and cooperation in allowing us to host our meets in their facility. Many thanks also to the State Swimming Committee for their many dedicated hours of hard work in organizing and running the region meets, in addition to the state meets. We cannot thank you enough!
