The State Basketball Finals came to a successful conclusion on Saturday, 3/14 as Meade, Oakland Mills, Centennial, and New Town hauled down Boys titles at the Xfinity Center. On the Girls side, Eleanor Roosevelt, Milford Mill, Patterson Mill, and Forestville raised the champions trophy at SECU Arena. Before closing the book on the winter season, our sincere thanks goes to our State Basketball Committees and region tournament directors, led by Earl Hawkins and Lynette Mitzel, along with our State Tournament Directors Diane George and Jeff Sullivan. We appreciate everyone's persistence and diligence to keep the tournament on schedule during the frequent bouts of inclement weather.
