The MPSSAA proudly recognizes those students chosen to attend the National Student Leadership Summit. The annual conference is run by National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) and is being held on July 22-25 at The Alexander Hotel in Indianapolis, Indiana. Accompanying them are adult ambassadors who will also attend and participate in the sessions.

During the summit, attendees engage in discussion about relevant topics that affect students in school athletics and performing arts programs. Already believed to be leaders amongst their peers, the NFHS hopes that these students become self aware of their positive leadership and the effect their influence can have on others in their schools and communities. They can help create positive cultures in peer groups as well as with adult leaders.

The 2024 Maryland delegation hail from Anne Arundel County, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and Montgomery County.
