The races are done for the season as a picture perfect day framed the multitude of runners trying to set personal bests on one of the toughest cross country venues around. Click on the links above to view the individual and team results in each classification's race. (updated 11/16/10, 9:00 a.m.)

     We salute all of the student-athletes who qualified for the state meet and were up to the challenge of the Hereford course. Congratulations to our team champions: Walter Johnson (4A), Hereford (3A), Winters Mill (2A), and Catoctin (1A).  This was the third title in a row for Walter Johnson and the second consecutive title for Winters Mill.

     Earning the honor of individual champion in their respective classifications were: Chris Miller of Northwest HS (4A), Mason Rivera from Hereford HS (3A), Robby Creese representing Glenelg HS (2A), and Allegany HS's Ian MacFawn (1A).  Robby Creese's title was his second in a row!

     The MPSSAA would like to thank the State Cross Country Committee, especially Director Stephen Hays, for their contributions toward such a successful season and event. We also cannot thank Hereford HS, Athletic Director Mike Kalisz and his staff of coaches and volunteers enough for their gracious hospitality, preparation, and planning. What a team!
