  • Applications Open for the 2022 MPSSAA Minds in Motion Scholarship Program!

    The Minds in Motion Scholarship, is awarded to female and male senior scholar-athletes who attend a MPSSAA school and participate in MPSSAA-recognized sports. The $1,000 scholarship is awarded toward post-secondary education for qualifying applicants and is presented to the winners at a luncheon. The application, with requirements, is available on the MPSSAA website during a 5-week window in March/April.​

    The Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association (MPSSAA) on Thursday, January 27, 2022 approved a set of proposals to alleviate issues associated with COVID-19 cancellations and pauses of regular season contests to ensure equitable opportunity for all schools to compete in the 2022 MPSSAA Winter State Championships. The proposals address the sports of indoor track and wrestling that utilized regular season as qualifiers for state tournament entry.
