Multiple Records Broken at State Indoor Track and Field Championships

Good crowds showed up to watch the MPSSAA Indoor Track and Field State Championships which were held February 21-22 at the Prince George's Sports and Learning Complex.

If you attended the 1A/2A meet, you may have been witness to a state record and a handful of classification records broken.  Brody Buffington of Catoctin broke the Boys 55m state record with a time of 6.19.  The record was previously held by Justin Murdock of Glen Burnie who ran a 6.21 at the 2007 meet.  Besides Buffington breaking the 1A record, the following classification records were also broken at this year's meet.
