    School Closings On 2/20 Postpone Officials' Rules Clinics For Spring Sports!!

    Wednesday's (2/20) school closings have caused the postponement of the Free State/Frederick County Baseball and Softball umpires clinics at Winters Mills HS. These have been rescheduled for Monday, 2/25 at the same times and location. The Baltimore County Track Officials' clinic at Loch Raven HS has also been postponed to a new date to be determined.     All region swimming and diving meets are complete and the qualifiers determined for the State Championships at Eppley Recreation Center on the campus of the University of Maryland - College Park. The State Diving competitions are slated for Friday, 2/22 at 5 PM and the State Swimming competitions on Saturday, 2/23 with Class 4A/3A competing at 9:30 AM and Class 3A/2A/1A competing at 4 PM.     State Dual Meet Wrestling Champs Battle It Out To Win 2019 Crowns!!

    A full day of hard-nosed wrestling concluded with two new state Dual Meet champions and two successful Dual Meet title defenses. Damascus maintained their streak of titles with their 9th overall and 7th consecutive in winning the Class 2A crown while county-mate Springbrook brought home their 1st state title in Class 4A. Southern-Garrett also successfully defended their crown in Class 1A for their 3rd overall as Stephen Decatur prevailed over Linganore to win their 2nd title in Class 3A.
