    Sport Specific Classification Recommendations Put Forth For 2019-2021!!

    The MPSSAA Classification Committee met in early November and voted to put forth recommended sport specific region and section alignments for the 2019-21 academic years. The recommendations will be presented to the MPSSAA Board of Control at tomorrow's meeting for final approval.     Runners braved the cold and wind at Saturday's State Cross Country meets at Hereford as four teams successfully defended last year's titles and three male runners achieved noteworthy performances. River Hill's Anish Nanjappa set a new Class 2A record with his top ten of all time clocking of 15:58.08. Earlier in the day, Class 4A Northwood's Obsaa Feda and Eldad Mulugeta dueled to the finish as they both posted top ten all time runs of 15:44.05 and 15:44.29 respectively.

C. Milton Wright started the day by winning the Class 3A title followed by Class 4A champ South River. The Class 1A crown was won by South Carroll and the Class 2A title went to Liberty.
