2015 State Baseball Champions Prevail In Tense Duels!!

A great weekend of baseball came to a close last night at Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen as three new champions were crowned and one champ successfully defended last year's title. Gaithersburg (4A) and Chopticon (3A) hoisted the championship trophy for the first time while Brunswick (1A) posted their fifth title and Southern-AA (2A) all repeated as state champ. 2015 State Softball Champs Successfully Hold Their Ground!!

A great weekend of softball came to a close last night at the University of Maryland-College Park Softball Stadium as one new champion was crowned and three champs successfully defended last year's titles. Class 2A Middletown hoisted the championship trophy for the first time while Manchester Valley (1A), Northern-Calvert (3A), and Sherwood (4A) all repeated as state champs. 2015 Lacrosse State Champions Rule The Turf!!

The big show did not disappoint as the State Finals presented by PNC Bank came to a rousing conclusion at Stevenson University last night. The Maryland Association of Boards of Education (MABE) has a new statewide FREE seminar for athletic directors, coaches, principals, and those that supervise them which is entitled “Sports Have Rules: Learn the Laws that Rule Sports”. The seminar is being offered on May 18th and will be held at the Anne Arundel County Public Schools Board Room from 9:00 am - 12:30 pm. Read more for registration information.

Sportsmanship In Action At Xfinity Center!!

On Saturday, March 14th prior to the 8 PM Boys' 4A State Basketball Championship game, both Meade HS and Bethesda-Chevy Chase HS had packed the stands at the University of Maryland-College Park's Xfinity Center.
