    The State Lacrosse Finals wrapped up Thursday night bringing the first year of four classifications to a successful conclusion. Four schools won first-time titles, two schools won for the second time, and two more schools are regulars to the title stage and added more hardware to their trophy cases.     The State Lacrosse Championships came to a thrilling close last night with the Severna Park Boys and Churchill Boys battling until the last second as Severna Park netted a buzzer-beater to prevail 7-6 for their 7th state crown. Additional congratulations go to our 3 first-time state champions. The Northern-Calvert Boys edged Glenelg, 5-4 and the boys from Southern-AA prevailed over South Carroll, 20-7. On the girls side, Bel Air nipped Severna Park in another thriller, 10-9.

    Warrior Lacrosse Named As Official Lacrosse Equipment Provider Of MPSSAA!!

    The MPSSAA Executive Council voted to accept the contract proposal from Warrior Lacrosse at yesterday's meeting as the official lacrosse equipment provider of the MPSSAA beginning with the Spring, 2017 season and running through the end of the Spring, 2021 season. Warrior takes over the lacrosse sponsorship from Harrow who had been an MPSSAA sponsor for the past seven years.
