The 2018 State Baseball Champions all had to grind out tough wins in their title games against staunch competition. Two schools won their first ever state baseball titles while two others added to their state title count after a sixteen year wait. The State Lacrosse Finals wrapped up Thursday night bringing the first year of four classifications to a successful conclusion. Four schools won first-time titles, two schools won for the second time, and two more schools are regulars to the title stage and added more hardware to their trophy cases. Clarence Johnson Honored With NFHS State Award For Outstanding Service!!

Last night at the annual District 8 Dinner Meeting, Executive Director Andy Warner presented the NFHS State Award for Outstanding Service to Clarence Johnson, the current Executive Director of the Bayside Conference in recognition of his nearly 50 years of service to the student-athletes of the Maryland. It was certainly appropriate that the presentation take place in front of so many friends, colleagues, administrators, and coaches associated with the Bayside Conference and District 8!
