    2017 Region Swimming & Diving Meet Results

    All of the diving and swimming region meets are now complete as qualifying swimmers and divers head into this weekend's State Championships at the sparkling Eppley Recreation Center on the campus of the University of Maryland - College Park. Diving competitions are on Friday, 2/24 at 5 PM and the Swimming competitions will take place on Saturday, 2/25 with Class 4A/3A competing at 9:30 AM and Class 3A/2A/1A competing at 4 PM.     The 2017 State Dual Meet Wrestling Tournament has come to another exciting conclusion as both of last year's champions were successful in the defense of their crowns. In Class 2A/1A, Middletown won their 2nd overall and consecutive title while in Class 4A/3A, Damascus continued their impressive run of 5 consecutive state titles and 7th overall.     State Volleyball Champs Battle Through Tough Competition In Earning 2016 Crowns!!

    Fan support was tremendous on the final day of the volleyball season and the players on the court did not disappoint. Matches seesawed back and forth as teams tried to gain momentum and keep it. After the final whistle, Smithsburg HS (Class 1A) and Northwest HS (Class 4A) successfully defended last year's titles. Williamsport (Class 2A) returned to the winners' circle for the 14th time while Atholton claimed the crown in Class 3A, their first state volleyball title in 37 years!
