On Monday night, Williamsport started things off by setting the tone in Class 2A as they hauled in their state record 15th state crown. Class 4A Northwest followed suit just as efficiently as they pulled off a "four-peat" in defending their title in the late match. Tuesday's finals began with Class 1A Clear Spring winning their 3rd state championship after a 24-year hiatus and wrapped up with Atholton grabbing their 4th state title in the nightcap. In addition, Western School of Technology and Environmental Science took home the Lesley W. Cooke Tournament Sportsmanship Award. Nicely done!
The MPSSAA extends congratulations to all of the schools that participated in this year's tournament and we appreciate your cooperation and support throughout the entire season. Our sincerest gratitude to the State Volleyball Committee, especially Director Sybil Kessinger, and all of the region tournament directors for another outstanding job of planning leading up to this culminating event.
