Three scholarships are available through The LPGA Foundation for female high school seniors who play golf and plan on attending college in the fall.  These are:  The Marilynn Smith Scholarship, The Dinah Shore Scholarship and The Phyllis G. Meekins Scholarship.

     The Marilynn Smith Scholarship will award ten scholarships in the amount of $5,000 each to young ladies planning to play competitive golf in college.  The Dinah Shore Scholarship will award one scholarship in the amount of $5,000 to a female that plays high school golf and plans to attend college but NOT play intercollegiate golf.  The Phyllis G. Meekins Scholarship will award one scholarship in the amount of $1,250.  The Phyllis G. Meekins Scholarship will be awarded to a young woman with demonstrated financial need from a recognized minority background who intends to play intercollegiate golf.
