Students or teams representing a MPSSAA member school shall participate only in contests conducted by educationally-related organizations. A MPSSAA member school shall not compete in any intercounty contest involving more than 3 teams and sponsored by a non-member educational institution unless the contest receives prior sanctioning approval by the Executive Director of the MPSSAA. The host school shall file the sanction request form below with the MPSSAA Executive Director prior to the first play date of the particular season (fall, winter, spring) and at least 15 days prior to the event for events within the first two weeks of the season. Each request must include an official listing of participating schools before it can be processed for approval.
Member MPSSAA schools MAY host intercounty contests involving ONLY other member MPSSAA schools or schools approved through the "Standards of Competition" without sanctioning approval.
