The 2015 State Finals wrapped up after some hard-fought and well-played matches on the pitch at Loyola University's beautiful Ridley Athletic Complex. Broadneck and Bel Air claimed their first state girls soccer titles in Class 4A and Class 3A respectively, while Fallston (Class 2A) and Sparrows Point (1A) won their fourth and third state crowns. he tournament sportsmanship award went to the Bel Air Bobcats recognizing the players, coaches, and fans as the best during the state semis and finals. The MPSSAA and the State Soccer Committee extend their heartfelt and sincere appreciation to the Loyola University Athletic Department and staff for hosting the State Finals and for doing such a superb job in every aspect. We cannot thank you enough! A hearty thank you as well to the members of the Girls State Soccer Committee, led by Marianne Shultz, for the extra time and energy put into organizing and running their region tournaments and state semifinal games.
