The baseball brackets have been updated with information we have as of today, May 20.
The 2008 baseball draw was held May 7 at the MPSSAA office.
In the 4A draw, Gaithersburg (west), 2007 state champion Eleanor Roosevelt (south), Linganore (north) and Arundel (east) all captured number one seeds.
The 3A draw saw Frederick (west), La Plata (south), Patapsco (north) and 2007 state runner up Centennial (east) as the one seeds.
South Hagerstown (west), Marriotts Ridge (south), Polytechnice (north) and Parkside (east) all secured number one spots in the 2A brackets.
2007 state runner up Northern Garrett (west), Surrattsville (south), Digital Harbor (north), and 2007 state champion Col. Richardson (east) took the top four spots in the 1A draw.
Athletic Directors and Coaches Reminder:
Teams advancing past the Regional Quarterfinals are to submit ONLINE ENTRIES by 4 pm on Monday, May 13, 2008. The MPSSAA online entry information is found on pages 6-7 of the MPSSAA Spring Bulletin and on the MPSSAA Coaches/Athletic Directors Page.
Teams advancing past the Regional Quarterfinals are to submit a TEAM Photo by 4 pm on Monday, May 13, 2008. Team Photo submission information is found on pages 6-7 of the MPSSAA Spring Bulletin.
Teams advancing to the State Semifinals must fill out the media information sheet found in the info center section of thebaseball page of mpssaa.org and provide 40 copies at the state semifinals and finals.
