The "Winning With Asthma" program in now active here in Maryland as a valuable resource to educate high school coaches about asthma, how it affects a student-athlete's ability to compete, and how they can help student-athletes manage their symptoms while playing their best.

     Interested coaches, athletic directors, and administrators can visit www.winningwithasthma.org and sign in.  Participants watch a 30-minute educational video and complete an online survey about what they learned.  Upon completion, the individual will receive a certificate, the "Coach's Clipboard" outlining what should be done during an asthma attack, and other educational materials via mail.  This training and materials are FREE of charge!
