    Field Hockey State Champs Dominate The Turf!!

    The 2014 State Field Hockey Finals have drawn to another successful close at Washington College. Class 3A jump started the day as Westminster prevailed over Linganore, 2-0. Class 4A followed with Severna Park downing B-CC, 4-1. Class 1A North Carroll successfully defended their title over Fallston, 2-1 and Class 2A wrapped up the day as Hereford defeated Kent Island, 2-1. Kent Island also took home the tournament Sportsmanship Award in addition to the runner-up trophy.

    Classification Recommendations Made For 2015-17

    The MPSSAA Classification Committee met on Thursday, 11/6 and unanimously put forth recommended region and section alignments for the 2015-17 academic years. The recommendations will be presented to the MPSSAA Board of Control at their December meeting for final approval.
